Wantaway Coutinho left out of Liverpool's Champions League squad

The Brazilian will miss tomorrow’s play-off first leg against Hoffenheim.

AFTER MISSING THE opening day of the Premier League season, Philippe Coutinho has been left out of Liverpool’s squad for tomorrow’s Champions League play-off first leg against German side Hoffenheim.

The 25-year old has been subject of interest from Barcelona and submitted a formal transfer request last Friday.

His move came after Liverpool reportedly rejected a bid of €100 million from the Catalan club.

Coutinho missed Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Watford with a back injury and will now miss the first leg of Liverpool’s Champions League campaign at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena tomorrow night.

The 22-man Liverpool squad in full:

Alexander-Arnold, Moreno, Lovren, Milner, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Can, Mane, Salah, Firmino, Kent, Solanke, Origi, Gomez, Klavan, Flanagan, Robertson, Matip, Grujic, Mignolet, Karius, Ward.
